Personal Use: All free downloads from this site are strictly for personal, non-profit use. For any business or commercial use, a standard or extended commercial license is required. You can purchase one here.
Terms for Free Downloads: By downloading free sets, you agree to the following:
- Redistribution on your site or blog is permitted, provided you credit Mels Brushes, host the original zipped set, link back to our site, and do not claim the designs as your own.
- Clearly indicate that the graphics are for personal use only and provide a link to our license page.
Permitted Free Use Cases:
- Personal blogs, artwork, and gifts
- Charity design work (prior contact required)
- Academic projects and educational materials
- Community and fundraising event artwork
- Non-commercial purposes not generating income
Prohibited Uses Without a License:
- Any commercial use, including but not limited to business websites, client work, resale items, and commercial branding
- Use in apps, digital products, and commercial signage
Commercial Licenses: Purchase a license for commercial use in our shop, specifying the graphics set and your details. Each set is £4.00 for up to 500 uses.
Standard Licenses: Covers up to 500 reproductions, online or in print. Exceeding this requires an additional standard license.
Extended/Logo Licenses: For unlimited reproductions or logo use, the fee is £100. Contact us for resale licenses or other inquiries.
Ownership: Purchasing a license grants usage rights, not ownership of the design. Copyright remains with Mels Brushes.
Support: For clarification on the appropriate license, contact info@melsbrushes.co.uk.
Indemnification and Disclaimers: You agree to protect Mels Brushes from any legal claims related to your use of our images. Mels Brushes offers the images and website “as is” without warranty. We’re not liable for any damages arising from your use of our site or images.
Currency Conversion: For currency conversion, refer to xe.com. PayPal will convert to UK Pounds at no extra charge.
